The Cleveland State swimming and diving teams participated in the 12th annual Magnus Cup, from Thursday, Nov. 21 through Saturday, Nov. 23 in Busbey Natatorium.

Men’s highlights
CSU men’s swimming concluded the cup in first place with 1162 points, followed by St. Bonaventure (1312) and Youngstown State (1240).
100-yard IM (individual medley): freshman Alex Cucu (50.70, 1st), senior Josh Merchbaker (51.15, 3rd), sophomore Aidan Florio (51.71, 5th), sophomore Michael Cucu (53.16,16th) and freshman Nathan Dunhac (53.17)
50-yard butterfly: sophomore Daniel Lyngaas (22.01, 6th), freshman Cameron Craft (22.10, 10th), senior Andrew Arslanian (22.88, 1st in B-final), freshman Ethan Mumma (22.96, 14th), freshman Nate Steiner (23.4,16th) and freshman Seth Smith (23.26, 19th)

Women’s highlights
The women’s swimming team finished the weekend in fifth place, with Akron (1,728.5),Tulane (1,358.5), and Xavier (723.5) being the top finishers.
