Viking Crime Log: four open felonies among eight crime reports just before finals week – The Cauldron
Cleveland State University (CSU) finished week 15 of the spring 2025 semester with eight crime reports, two of which list two open felonies each, according to the CSU 60-day crime log.
Both cases listing two open felonies took place on Tuesday, April 29. One case is a report of theft and criminal damaging or endangering in Lot 27, while the other is a report of theft and misuse of credit cards in Berkman Hall.
An off-campus report of criminal damaging or endangering on Sunday, April 27, shows a final disposition of unfounded, meaning there is insufficient evidence that the person charged committed the crime.
Another report of criminal damaging or endangering was reported in the residence hall The Edge on April 29, which remains open. Euclid Commons, another residence hall, saw a crime report of assault on Friday, May 2, that has since been referred to the student judiciary.
Using the 60-day crime log available in person at the CSU Police Department and online, students can access the list of crimes from the past week. Below, they have been compiled into one list for the month of April.
