Student Day: start building your PR future – The Cauldron

For students looking to break into the world of public relations, the upcoming PRSA Greater Cleveland Chapter Student Day is the perfect place to start. 

The annual event, hosted by Marcus Thomas LLC, will take place on Friday, Oct. 24. students a chance to connect with local industry professionals and explore different career paths within communications.

 The half-day program, Running from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.,will include breakfast, interactive speaker sessions, lunch and a speed networking mixer. The event will also focus on helping students sharpen their professional skills while learning what it’s really like to work in PR.

Speakers for the event areChelsea Penfield and McKinzey Saig from Marcus Thomas LLC, Ralph Davila from the American Optometric Association, Kendra Davis from the Cleveland Foundation and Katie Archer, who will share insights from the corporate side. Each will lead an engaging session followed by a Q&A, giving students a chance to ask questions and get real-world advice.

For $10, attendees can enjoy a morning of networking opportunities, fresh perspectives and practical guidance from professionals across agency, nonprofit, healthcare and corporate sectors. The event will be held at 4781 Richmond Rd, Cleveland, and free parking will be available.
