PHS Young Professionals Groups – The Cauldron

maximios November 16, 2025 Guide

Until recently, I did not know that Playhouse Square had a young professionals group, called Partners. Then my roommates, who are finished with school and have more free time, joined. Ever since, I have heard about the many nights they spend at the theatres- busy with shop nights, planning, or some sort of fun event.

Partners is aimed at young adults, ages 21-40, with different membership options. There are monthly meetings, as well as a number of other ways to be involved with the theatre scene.

Most notable is the organization’s big annual event, Jump Back Ball. This year’s ball, themed “A Night on the High Seas,” will take place this coming weekend, Feb. 25. From what I have heard, this event has been the big countdown for those involved with the young professionals group.

Participants were assigned a number of tasks in preparing for the event, such as decorations, which involved getting a bit crafty! Young professionals, as well as community members, were invited to attend weekly shop nights, as the set pieces for the event were constructed.

Jump Back Ball is a big fundraising event that supports the educational programming of Playhouse Square. The evening includes food, drinks, and activities with tickets ranging from $75- $200. And don’t forget your pirate costume!

Read more about the group, here. Tickets are available for Jump Back Ball, here.
