November shows most crime reports of semester thus far – The Cauldron

Maintaining an uptick in reports, there were 18 crime log entries from Nov. 24 through Nov. 30, according to the Cleveland State University Sixty Day Crime Log.

The month of November has seen the highest number of crime reports of the semester so far. While the average week has between 16 and 17 crime log entries, there were 19 reports and 20 reports the prior two weeks.

Five counts of criminal damaging or endangering, three counts of theft, two counts of burglary, and two counts of petty theft are on the list of week’s crimes.

One charge of the misuse of credit cards at the Recreation Center and one charge of counterfeiting at Rascal House were also reported.

Three fire alarms and seven supervisory smoke alarms account for the majority of reports.

Using the Sixty Day Crime Log that is available in person and online at the Cleveland State University Police Department website, the list of crime reports from the past week have been compiled into one list, excluding the campus safety escorts.
