A Cauldron Gallery: Women’s volleyball home opener – The Cauldron
The women’s volleyball team lost 3-1 in its home opener Wednesday night, Sept. 3, against the Akron Zips.
8 kills were executed throughout the game by Byrn Vanvleet on the Viking’s offense, followed by Julia Jozefov with five and Chloe List with four.
Defense was headed by Vayda Delventhal with 17 digs, Madisyn Green added seven and Isabella Gibbons had six.
15 assists were completed by Allison Salazar with Isabella Gibbons completing 13. Additionally, the team collectively made eight blocks.
The Vikings will host American University on Friday, September 6 in the Woodling Gymnasium.
